Antonio Concepcion Escobar, a San Pablo resident, was booked into the Marin County Jail on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, causing injuries. Bail was set at $50,000.

The crash occurred around 3:45 p.m. at St. Anselm School at 40 Belle Ave. Police said a red Chevy pickup truck struck a curb on Richmond Road, went over some bushes and small trees and smacked into the gymnasium's cinder block wall.

The impact of the crash punched a hole through the wall and sent a small piece of cinder block toward an 11-year-old boy playing football in the gym, police said. Firefighters treated the boy for minor injuries to his ankle.

Escobar was arrested at the scene and treated for minor injuries before being booked into jail.
