    Stephen Robertson was booked into the Marin County Jail on suspicion of driving while intoxicated after San Anselmo police responded to a collision report at 9:28 p.m. involving his green BMW X5 sport utility vehicle and a light post at the corner of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Butterfield Road.

    Officers reported that the vehicle hit a curb before striking the pole with enough force to shear it from its foundation. The vehicle wound up in a westbound lane of Sir Francis Drake.

    Antonio Concepcion Escobar, a San Pablo resident, was arraigned Friday on drunken driving charges. He was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated Thursday after crashing into the gym at St. Anselm School.

    The impact punched a hole in the wall, projecting a piece of cinder block toward an 11-year-old boy playing in the gym. The boy was treated for minor injuries.

    Escobar returns to court Monday to enter a plea.
