Ernie Cabreana, 58, was unhurt after the crash, which took place in Olema at the intersection of Highway 1 and Bear Valley Road. The airbag on his white Nissan Sentra deployed, the CHP said.

The southbound lane was temporarily blocked by the damaged car and a crew from Pacific Gas and Electric was called to replace the power pole.

Cabreana declined medical treatment and was being booked at Marin County Jail on Sunday night.
