On 8/22/08, the San Rafael conducted a DUI/Driver's License checkpoint. This was held at Andersen Drive at Gary Place. As a result, 1726 vehicles were screened, 77 vehicles were unscreened, 2 DUI arrests were made, 17 were cited for driving without a license or on a suspended license, 1 arrest for a warrant, 2 arrests for public intoxication and 17 vehicles were impounded or towed.
